Independence Day Tea Party ALL SYSTEMS GO!!!!!!!! See you there

My name is Pete Harring (aka Pete the Carpenter) I am the founder of the Group
called Paint Maine Red. We helped organize the Tax Day Tea
Party in Augusta and are also one of the sponsor's for the upcoming Independence Day Tea Party/Cookout in Augusta.

It is Paint Maine Red's intention to create a grassroots coalition of
Americans and provide a platform to unite around a common goal of stopping the
socialistic liberal agenda, seek out and support individuals with True
Conservative Values, we are also here to let our officials know that RINO's are
on the endangered species list here in Maine and will soon be extinct. If done
properly, we will create the foundation and structure for rebuilding the
conservative movement and restoring constitutional leadership to our State and
Nation.

Paint Maine Red is again Joining forces with the group Maine Patriots
(formally known as Re-tea party of Maine) to hold an Independence Day Tea Party / Cookout at Capitol Park in Augusta from 2 PM till 7 PM. for a fun filled day
of Peaceful Protest, Patriotic Music, children's games, Train rides and a
cookout.

This is gearing up to be a Grand Event, We will have Patriotic songs by Mike
Willet. Mike Willette is an accomplished Las Vegas style cabaret singer in the
tradition of Bennett,Darin,Sinatra,Humperdink, Como, etc. Singing professionally
since the age of 14, he has shared the stage with a large number of big bands,
show bands, combos, from little known names to the likes of the Glen Miller band.

We will also have Trackless Train rides provided by R&D Express
www.tracklesstrain.biz and traditional games for the children. There will also
be several groups with citizen initiative petitions in attendance as well as
many Mainer's standing up and voicing there opinions.

The Augusta Tax Day Tea Party was a huge success, almost 1000 fellow Mainers from over 163 towns showed up to tell our officials that we will be silent no
more. We don't want people to think of it as a one-time event and then have it
fall by the wayside.

Our goal is simple keep the grassroots movement on fire. "We want to keep
Patriots excited and pumped up, we want them to continue to pound on the door of Congress and the White House."

SIGN SUGGESTIONS - CLICK HERE

Help wanted with many different tasks. We need people willing to cook, man information tables, set up and clean up, help with games etc.. Also we need donations to cover insurance, porta potty's, flyer's and so on. Please donate today! Any amount will help. We also need help with providing Pocket Constitutions for everyone who attends. The State is requiring us to have 2 fire extinguishers for each grill, so far we have 4 grills and 3 extinguishers. Please go to your local stores and talk to the owners, ask them if you can post a flier in there store and ask them for a donation of food or goods. (Cash is also good) There are flyer's posted on Paint Maine Red for download.
Please attend and donate a little time and money to make this bigger and better than the last one. If anyone has any suggestions or talents that they would like to share please contact me. If anyone is interested in speaking let me know.

I've set up Facebook and MySpace pages for the Tea Party, and have a Twitter remaining from the Tax Day Tea Party that I'll use for this one.

If you use any of these social networking sites, feel free to add them. I'm hoping the extra exposure in the social networking world will help add some more people to our Tea Party. Their growth is nothing impressive so far, but I'm sending out word across the sites. With time, hopefully.

A member of our group purchased 100 pocket Constitutions and is selling them for 1.00 to members to recoup cost and to buy more so that we can hand them out in various locations.

ALSO. Another thing I just thought of. Since it is Independence Day, we should find copies of pocket Constitutions that have the Declaration Of Independence in it as well. The DOI is virtually unknown to most. And it is the very foundation of the American Revolution.

Pete, you know where to reach me if you need anything. I've indicated where I'll definitely jump on board and with anything else, just let me know and I'll do what I can. Let's make this one stronger than the last! For liberty and freedom!
